THE TAILOR
ENGINEER
Measure twice. Build once. Blast aliens repeatedly.
The Tailor Engineer proves that sewing skills, mechanical genius, and battlefield panic can coexist beautifully.
Build defenses, repair structures, deploy gadgets, and turn ordinary streets into UPDF-approved alien inconvenience zones.
The Collectors brought beams. You brought tools.
Role Fantasy
Shape the battlefield.
You are not trying to win every fight by yourself. You are shaping the battlefield so your team wins the fight before it starts.
Build near citizen clusters. Fortify choke points. Repair what the aliens break. Keep teammates supplied. Turn safe zones into strong zones.
The UPDF calls it engineering.
The Tailor Engineer calls it aggressive tailoring.
Playstyle
Preparation. Gadgets. Plans.
You are at your best when thinking ahead: where will aliens push, where will citizens run, where will defenders hold, and where can one well-placed gadget cause maximum alien regret?
Your tools reward smart positioning and teamwork. You may not always be at the front of the fight, but everyone notices when your defenses are missing.
Usually because they are screaming.
Combat Identity
Abilities & Loadout
Tool
Spanner Wrench
Repair structures, rebuild windows and doors, maintain defenses, and remind machines that quitting is not allowed during an invasion.
Also useful for making threatening gestures near alien equipment.
Deployable
Button Turret
Deploy a UPDF defensive turret to help control lanes and punish careless minions.
Perfect for doorways, citizen safe zones, and places aliens thought were going to be easy.
Support Station
Laundry Dispenser
A support station that helps keep Defenders supplied.
Because nothing says “military logistics” like battlefield laundry infrastructure.
Deployable Cover
Dryer Door Shield
A repurposed appliance door bolted onto battlefield-grade hinges. Pop it open in front of you to soak alien beam fire, brace through a push, and prove that household engineering peaked in the laundry room.
Front-facing only. Aliens shooting from behind you will continue to be a personal problem.
Class Passive
Defensive Construction
The Tailor Engineer's real power is placement.
Build smart. Build early. Build where aliens have to go.
During Setup Phase
Tailor Engineer time.
While other Defenders are dragging citizens indoors and shouting, you are building the reason those citizens might survive.
Place turrets. Prepare supply points. Fortify safe areas. Watch where citizens gather and make those spots harder to raid.
The aliens are scouting from above. Give them something unpleasant to write down.
Final Stand
Become critical.
Protect cannon zones. Repair defenses. Support chokepoints. Keep the Pants Factory from becoming a Collector shopping cart.
Every turret matters. Every repair matters. Every second bought gives the UPDF another chance to blast the mothership out of the sky.
Lore
From custom-fit emergency pants to automated turret fire.
The Tailor Engineer began as a humble maker of uniforms, repairs, and custom-fit emergency pants.
Then the aliens attacked. After witnessing the Collectors steal an entire rack of freshly pressed slacks, the Tailor Engineer made a vow: never again would fabric be taken without resistance, reinforcement, and possibly automated turret fire.
The UPDF did not ask why the laundry machine had targeting software. They were simply grateful it worked.
Field Recordings
Heard from the workbench.
“You call it a turret. I call it preventative tailoring.”
“This safe zone has been reinforced with science and spite.”
“Nobody steals pants on my watch. I fitted those.”
“If it breaks, I fix it. If it moves, the turret handles it.”
“Hold the seam line!”
